Ms Elaine Skinner | 01/09/16 - 31/08/28 |
After graduating with a degree in English I began a teaching career which lasted well over 30 years. In that time, I worked in several very different educational settings: mixed comprehensive schools, a non-selective school, an inner city sixth form college, and lastly, an all through school for pupils aged 3-19. Throughout this time pastoral care was a key focus - how schools teach and leave pupils feeling good about themselves. My experience as a school senior leader, and later as an advisor helped me really understand and appreciate how schools can help pupils to thrive. Secondary schools rely on the schooling that has gone before. I have learned that the earliest years in school are arguably the most vital for pupils' future success and self-esteem. I have been a governor at Eton Porny since 2016 with a special interest in the teaching and learning of literacy. |
Mr Ed Yeo | 30/09/21 - 29/09/25 |
Ed Yeo is a House Master and music teacher at Eton College. After studying for his degree at the University of Durham, he completed a PGCE and taught at a day school in Oxford for two years before arriving at Eton in 2012. He has undertaken a number of roles including Head of Year and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, as well as sitting on committees exploring pastoral and academic provision. He has been a Governor since September 2021 and is a curriculum link. He has three small children, two of which have been pupils at Eton Porny. |

Mr Peter Taylor | 02/10/24 - 01/10/28 |
Born and raised in the West Country capital of Bristol, I went up to Scotland to study history (later also studying history and theology at Oxford and an Anglican seminary in north London). I then taught English and worked in an investment bank in Russia for three years. On returning to England I trained as a history teacher in the state sector and subsequently was accepted for ordination in the Church of England. Whilst I was a vicar on the south coast, the school in my parish was rebooted as an academy, and I was asked to join the senior leadership team as a chaplain and to join the governing body as a foundation governor. I then moved to start a church on a London housing estate, which involved organising youth clubs and sports activities. When the church project transitioned to the next stage of its development, I took on the role of school chaplain at Radley College in Oxfordshire. After nearly seven years at Radley, coaching sport and running the charities programme, I started last Christmas at Eton College. I am new to the governing body. |

Mrs Grazia Murray Cusati (Safeguarding Lead Governor) | 30/09/21 - 29/09/25 |
Born in Italy, after graduating in Engineering, I moved to the UK to improve my English. Here I decided to train as a Maths Teacher at St Mary’s University College. I taught in secondary state schools in London, Cambridge and Slough. I have had different roles within the Maths departments where I worked. I am currently Second in Maths with overview of KS4, I help with the management of the school timetable and the school Research Community. I am a keen mathematician and I find every opportunity to share my passion with my students. I have been a parent governor at EP since 2021. My eldest is an EP alumnus and my youngest is at still at school. |
Mrs Kamna Sarna | 10/07/24 - 09/07/28 |

Originally from London, she worked in various Primary schools as a member of support staff whilst refining her experience in the Special Educational Needs sector. She completed both her B.Ed in Education Studies and MA in Inclusive Education from the Institute of Education, University of London which led her into the Social Care sector, in particular advocacy for young people leaving the care system. She later completed her Primary PGCE from the University of Hertfordshire and taught year 5 at an outstanding primary school in Harrow. This period of her life coincided with the time she got married and moved to Berkshire. Kamna has two small children, both are pupils at Eton Porny. |

PTA
The PTA is a partnership between parents and the school, who come together to organise social activities and fundraise. Our fundraising goes towards helping pay for vital resources that enhance the children’s learning environment and their school experience.
As well as a number of smaller projects, we also select a larger project in conjunction with the school’s leadership team to work towards over the year. In the past, projects have included redeveloping the school garden with a range of outdoor resources, funding a whole school trip to the beach and purchasing books to develop the school library.
All parents are automatically a member of the PTA when their child joins the school. The varied work means there's something for everyone - it's not just about being on the committee. We hold regular meetings throughout the year which all parents are warmly invited to attend. All offers of help and new ideas are gratefully received and we look forward to receiving your input.
If you would like to contact us please do so via the school office.
